The complaint, filed through the U.S. Department of Education Office for Civil Rights, alleges that the school district did not act quickly enough to address mold at Ashley Academy, and that failure of swift action is discriminatory, since Ashley Academy is predominantly minorities and the school district has taken different actions in similar circumstances in the past.
